"All An Illusion" was written in 2005 and was the first recording from the Balcarres Street sessions I made with my new DAW set-up, first time I had recorded using computers.

I remember listening to The Blue Nile at the time and liked their synth work and especially some of the tracks on their album "High". That was an inspiration in weaving the synth parts into "All An Illusion".

The song itself has a very direct spiritual message about the nature of reality.
