  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

A limited edition CD copy of my debut album 'One Way Ticket', released in 2006. I only had a run of a few hundred pressed at the time, most of them were sold through CD Baby's physical CD store but that no longer exists and was awkward for me to sell through anyway because I had to first ship a batch to their warehouse in the US. When they ran out a few years ago I thought all the CD's had finally gone but recently came across a small leftover batch which I'm now selling independently here.

There is a booklet designed by Kate (from SoulJahm) with lyrics, some photos and credits included with each CD copy.
For a small extra fee you can have your CD copy signed by me.

There is only a limited number of CDs left so they are available as long as stock lasts.

about

When I was a child at primary school we sometimes used to see these mysterious green arrows chalked along the streets on the way to and from school. We'd try and follow them to see where they led and who was responsible for them but we never did find out. Years later when writing this song that image came to me and turned into this alternative indie rock pop song. I wanted a kind of psychedelic, jazzy, ska feel with raw sounding horns, etc... what you hear is the best we could do at the time with the resources available.

lyrics

Drew first blood I wonder
Could it ever be real and we're not here
The landscape engulfs us
It makes me feel so strange not out of reach
Just too heavy to speak

These images that leave their mark without a trace
Green arrows on the pavement to a secret place
And there'll be more than you can find
Limitless beyond the lines
Outside
Outside

Who lit the match that got us here
Who stole the kiss I claimed was mine
Pretend to be somebody else
But still it's not enough keep wanting more
I thought that I was sure

These images that leave their mark without a trace
Green arrows on the pavement to a secret place
And there'll be more than you can find
Limitless beyond the lines
Outside
Outside

I'm never really sure of anything
I'll open up the door and see what I can bring

These images that leave their mark without a trace
Green arrows on the pavement to a secret place
And there'll be more than you can find
Limitless beyond the lines
Outside
Outside
Outside
Outside
