  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

A limited edition CD copy of my debut album 'One Way Ticket', released in 2006. I only had a run of a few hundred pressed at the time, most of them were sold through CD Baby's physical CD store but that no longer exists and was awkward for me to sell through anyway because I had to first ship a batch to their warehouse in the US. When they ran out a few years ago I thought all the CD's had finally gone but recently came across a small leftover batch which I'm now selling independently here.

There is a booklet designed by Kate (from SoulJahm) with lyrics, some photos and credits included with each CD copy.
For a small extra fee you can have your CD copy signed by me.

There is only a limited number of CDs left so they are available as long as stock lasts.

about

The indie rock title track of the album was written in Berlin in October 2002. I was backpacking around Europe and had my guitar and wrote most of the music and words there before finishing this alternative pop rock song off in Edinburgh. Another one which still seems to be living itself out.

lyrics

The races I have won
Come back to haunt at dawn
Breaking away start of a new day

The smell of fear can be
More than you ever remember
Now I will remember them
Through the smoke and debris

This one way ticket invites you to places you don't want to leave
A glimpse of relief

And now I feel unsure
Caught between the door
Sliding down a change has to come

A walk down memory lane
Helps to relieve all the pain and the curse of these times
Too much to take in

This one way ticket invites you to places you don't want to leave
A glimpse of relief
A one way ticket to dwell on paradise lost through the years
So far yet so near

All the days better spent
Come flooding in
Feel the pressure outside
All the love in disguise

This one way ticket invites you to places you don't want to leave
A glimpse of relief
A one way ticket to dwell on paradise lost through the years
So far yet so near
One way ticket a long train moving so fast you can't steer
And now you are here
So far yet so near
So far yet so near
