A limited edition CD copy of my debut album 'One Way Ticket', released in 2006. I only had a run of a few hundred pressed at the time, most of them were sold through CD Baby's physical CD store but that no longer exists and was awkward for me to sell through anyway because I had to first ship a batch to their warehouse in the US. When they ran out a few years ago I thought all the CD's had finally gone but recently came across a small leftover batch which I'm now selling independently here.

There is a booklet designed by Kate (from SoulJahm) with lyrics, some photos and credits included with each CD copy.
For a small extra fee you can have your CD copy signed by me.

There is only a limited number of CDs left so they are available as long as stock lasts.

about

A straight-ahead indie rock pop song. This one was written like this and was always clearly going to be recorded that way. It kind of deals with the idea of two people circling each other, somehow always missing each other and not being able to connect. It was written around the same time as "Summer Sadness".

lyrics

Here am I alone
I tie myself to the telephone
Fill my mind with the sounds I know
Coming back to you

Where do I belong
You know I would what I couldn't do
It's all the same when I'm feeling blue
Want the world that I cannot have

And yeah I know I'm wasting all my time
Tomorrow comes still chasing far behind

Oh we're satellites
And caught in a different world we'd be side by side
Holding off the night
In another place there's a sky that shines so bright

Gimme so much more
A summer dream and a restless shore
Just waiting for you like before
But this time I'm in pain

Here we go again
I close my eyes in the pouring rain
Driving faster there's no-one to blame
So see if I care

And yeah I know I'm wasting all my time
Tomorrow comes still chasing far behind

Oh we're satellites
And caught in a different world we'd be side by side
Holding off the night
In another place there's a sky that shines so bright

When you're feeling lonely am I the one you want
When your skies are empty do you suffer for the price

Oh we're satellites
And caught in a different world we'd be side by side
Holding off the night
In another place there's a sky that shines so bright
