Written in 2006 as part of the Balcarres Street Demos, a collection of fresh songs I recorded immediately after my debut album 'One Way Ticket' was released.

The intention was to quickly follow-up that debut release with a second album, with songs selected from these demos. Life took a different course of events. An acoustic version of "Sunrise" was recorded in Europe with SoulJahm and the intention was to record it properly and release it as a SoulJahm song. I began a SoulJahm recording of it in Budapest in early 2014 but had to abandon it. It was many years before I was able to come back to that recording and finish it, which became the version here.
