Written on ukulele in Salzburg, this was inspired directly by the postcard beauty of Salzburg and the irony that while it may have looked from a distance like we were having a jolly time swanning around Europe, the reality was very different. One day we could be in a mountain side apartment, the next in a tiny grubby hotel room, at times almost going homeless and facing lots of constant challenges nobody else knew about. A wonderful experience overall but the song is a reminder that things aren't always what they seem.
